- What do you already know about atomic bombs? Jot down a short list on a piece of note paper. Compare with somebody else in class that has the same birth month as you.
- While you are watching the video, check off anything on your list that you discover in the youtube clip.

- Read the Nuclear North Korea article as a class.
- Complete the "Organizing Information for a Purpose" activity. Do both parts A and B.
- Complete "Between the Lines" (Making an inference).
Conclusion
- In a group of 3 or 4, have a conversation based on the "Just Talk About It" prompts. Jot down your group's ideas on a piece of paper. Be prepared to report back to the class.
- Roles in your group: 1) Oldest: Recorder 2) 2nd Oldest - Moderator (ensures that everyone contributes something to the conversation, makes sure there is order 3) 3rd Oldest - Reporter (reports back to the class) 4) 4th Oldest - Manager (ensures that everyone is doing their job).
